Kittens on the Isle of Wight, raised in Ryde

If you are looking for kittens on the Isle of Wight, ours are born and raised in our family home in Ryde: Ragdolls and Ragcoons (Ragdoll × Maine Coon), health tested parents, and a colony of sixteen cats for them to grow up in. No ferry, no courier, no car park handover: you come and meet them.

What we breed

Ragdoll and Ragcoon kittens, from Ryde

We are a small family breeder, not a pet shop or a classified ad. Kittens leave at nine to ten weeks, decided kitten by kitten, weaned, litter trained and used to children, ducks, chickens and one peacock.

Ragdolls

Blue eyed, floppy, people centred, from five generations of Ragdoll bred to Ragdoll recorded in house. £850, every colour and pattern the same price.

About the breed

Ragcoons

Our Ragdoll queens crossed with Balder, a silver tabby Maine Coon: bigger, chattier, in silvers, tabbies and tuxedos. £600.

How it works on the Island

Visit, choose, collect

1

Apply

Fill in our kitten application and tell us about your home. We reply to every application personally, usually the same day or the next.

2

Visit us in Ryde

By appointment, you meet the kitten, the mother and the rest of the colony. From anywhere on the Island it is a short drive, and we send photos and videos between visits.

3

Reserve

Once we agree a kitten is the right match, a deposit holds them for you and comes off the price. Many of our kittens are reserved from the waiting list before they are advertised.

4

Collect from our home

You collect in person, your kitten settles into the carrier, and they come home with the full kitten pack, microchipped and registered to you, with our 14 day health guarantee.

🐾 Close to home afterwards too. Our cats are registered at Wootton Veterinary Centre, our shop delivers free anywhere on the Island on orders over £40, and we are here for the life of your cat.

Why families choose us

Raised underfoot, not in a pen

Every breeding cat here is tested for HCM and PKD, tested for FeLV and FIV, blood typed and screened for over 50 inherited conditions, with the certificates shown at your visit. Kittens grow up in the middle of family life, inside a colony of sixteen Ragdolls who teach them manners, and leave health checked, microchipped, litter trained and socialised.

Pets4Homes lists us as ID verified with a 5.0 rating from families who have taken kittens from us, and there are more reviews in their own words on our home page.

Island questions

Asked by Island families

Do you have kittens available on the Isle of Wight right now?

Our kittens page shows every kitten available or coming soon, updated as litters are born and reserved. Most kittens are spoken for from the waiting list before they are advertised, so joining it is the surest way to hear first.

Can we visit before deciding?

Yes, by appointment at our home in Ryde. You meet the kitten, the mother and the rest of the colony, and we send photo and video updates between visits.

What do your kittens cost?

Ragdoll kittens are £850 with a £200 deposit, and Ragcoon kittens (Ragdoll × Maine Coon) are £600 with a £150 deposit. The balance is due on collection day, and the price includes the full kitten pack, microchipping registered to you, a vet health check and our 14 day health guarantee.

Which vet do you use on the Island?

Every one of our cats is registered at Wootton Veterinary Centre, which is where our kittens have their health checks before they come home. Our health page has the details, including the Island's emergency vet.

Are you the Pretty Ragdolls listed on Pets4Homes for the Isle of Wight?

Yes. Our Pets4Homes breeder profile is the same family and the same cats. The website carries more than the listing can: every kitten and litter, the colony cards, the health testing, the full price and deposit details and the library of guides, and you can apply or join the waiting list here without a Pets4Homes account.

Coming from the mainland instead? Collection is one ferry and a short day. Everything else is in our buying FAQ.
