Ragdoll kittens for Hampshire, Sussex and the South Coast

We are in Ryde on the Isle of Wight, one ferry crossing from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington. Most of our families come from Hampshire, Sussex and around the Solent, and the ferry is simply part of collection day.

Getting here

Three crossings, one short day

Pick whichever ferry lands closest to you. We are on the Ryde side of the Island, so on any of the three you are with us within the hour of landing.

From Portsmouth

Wightlink car ferry to Fishbourne (about 45 minutes), the Wightlink FastCat foot passenger service from Portsmouth Harbour straight into Ryde (about 22 minutes), or Hovertravel from Southsea to Ryde (about 10 minutes). All land close to us, which makes Portsmouth the easiest crossing for Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey families.

From Southampton

Red Funnel car ferry to East Cowes (about an hour) or the Red Jet foot passenger service to West Cowes (about 25 minutes), then across the Island to Ryde. A good choice from the west of Hampshire and the M3.

From Lymington

Wightlink from Lymington to Yarmouth (about 40 minutes) is the quiet crossing from the New Forest side, followed by the drive along the Island to us. Handy from Dorset and the far side of the forest.

🐾 Pets travel on all three operators. Book directly with Wightlink, Red Funnel or Hovertravel, check their pet rules for the crossing you pick, and if you are a foot passenger the carrier stays with you for the whole journey. Kittens cannot be posted or couriered, so the crossing is always yours.

How it works

Collection day, step by step

1

Apply and get approved

Fill in our kitten application form and tell us about your home. We reply to every application personally, and we make sure it is a great match both ways before you choose your kitten with us.

2

Visit if you would like to

By appointment, you meet the kitten, the mother and the rest of the colony in our home. Between visits we send photo and video updates, so the crossing is never a leap in the dark.

3

Book the crossing

Tell us your ferry time and we plan the handover around it. A carrier, a blanket from home and a quiet car are all your kitten needs for the journey.

4

Home the same day

You collect in person, your kitten settles into the carrier, and you are home the same day with the full kitten pack. The balance is paid on the day, by bank transfer, card or cash.

🐾 We never courier or post kittens, and we do not do car park handovers. Every kitten is collected from our home, where you meet the colony it grew up in.
In their words

Families who made the trip

Absolutely delighted with our kitten! From the very first message, the whole experience was brilliant. We were kept updated with photos and information as our kitten grew, and it was clear how much care and attention goes into raising them. Our kitten came home happy, confident, affectionate and beautifully socialised. You can tell they are raised in a loving home environment. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a Ragdoll kitten!

John S, Guildford

Worth the crossing

Why families cross the water

Our Ragdolls come from five generations of Ragdoll bred to Ragdoll, and every breeding cat is tested for HCM and PKD, tested for FeLV and FIV, blood typed and screened for over 50 inherited conditions. Kittens grow up underfoot in our home, inside a colony of sixteen Ragdolls, handled daily and used to children, ducks, chickens and one peacock.

Every kitten leaves health checked, microchipped with the chip registered to you, litter trained and socialised, with the full kitten pack, our 14 day health guarantee and support for life. Ragdoll kittens are £850 and Ragcoon kittens (Ragdoll × Maine Coon) are £600, with no premiums for colour, pattern or sex.

Questions from the mainland

Before you book the ferry

Do you deliver kittens to the mainland?

No. Every kitten is collected in person from our home on the Isle of Wight. We never courier or post kittens, and we do not do car park handovers. The ferry is a short, easy part of collection day for the Hampshire, Sussex and Solent families who make up most of our homes.

Which ferry should we take?

Whichever lands closest to you. From Portsmouth: Wightlink to Fishbourne by car or FastCat to Ryde on foot, or Hovertravel from Southsea to Ryde. From Southampton: Red Funnel to East Cowes by car or Red Jet to West Cowes on foot. From Lymington: Wightlink to Yarmouth. We are in Ryde, so you are with us within the hour of landing on any of them. Book with the operator directly; pets travel on all three.

Can we visit before we decide?

Yes, by appointment. You meet the kitten, the mother and the rest of the colony in our home on the Isle of Wight, and we send photo and video updates between visits. If you would like to plan the crossing around a viewing first, say so when you enquire and we will suggest times that work.

What does our kitten come home with?

The full kitten pack: microchip registration documents, birth certificate and family tree, health and worming records, a scented blanket, toys, treats and food samples. Your kitten leaves health checked, microchipped with the chip registered to you, litter trained and socialised, with our 14 day health guarantee and support for life.
