Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use our website, enquire about a kitten, reserve with a deposit or order from our shop.

Last updated: 15 August 2026.

1. These terms, and agreeing to them

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pretty Ragdolls website at prettyragdolls.co.uk and the services offered through it: kitten enquiries, waiting list applications, reservations and deposits, and our online shop. By using the website, sending an enquiry or application, paying a deposit or placing a shop order, you agree to these terms.

These terms sit alongside, and never replace, the written Conditions of Sale that every family reads and signs before a kitten is handed over. If anything here appears to differ from the signed Conditions of Sale, the Conditions of Sale apply to the sale of that kitten.

2. About Pretty Ragdolls

Pretty Ragdolls is a small, family run Ragdoll breeder based on the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom. You can reach us by email at prettyragdolls@outlook.com, by phone or WhatsApp on Message us on WhatsApp, or through our contact page.

3. Using this website

You are welcome to browse, read and share our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the website: no attempting to gain unauthorised access, no scraping or bulk copying of our content or photographs, no submitting false or misleading applications, and no using our forms to send spam or anything unlawful.

4. Accuracy of information

We work hard to keep every page accurate and current, and this website is maintained by a small family rather than a content team, so occasional errors or out-of-date details are possible. Information on the website, including our guides and the Ragdoll Library, is general guidance offered in good faith and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice: always consult a vet about the health of your own cat.

5. Kitten availability and suitability

Kitten availability changes quickly and the website may not always reflect it in real time; our current adverts carry live availability, and no kitten is held for you until a deposit has been taken. All of our kittens are sold strictly as cherished family pets and non breeding companions, with neutering by six months forming part of the agreement. We match kittens to households and reserve the right to decline any enquiry or application where we do not believe the match is right, which we will always do politely.

6. Enquiries and the waiting list

Sending a kitten application or joining the waiting list is free and places you under no obligation to buy, and it equally does not oblige us to offer you a kitten. We reply to every enquiry, usually within 48 hours. Waiting list families are contacted in order when kittens arrive, and you can ask to come off the list at any time with one email.

7. Reservations, deposits and payments

Once your application has been approved and you have chosen your kitten with us, a deposit secures that kitten: £200 for a pure Ragdoll or £150 for a Ragcoon, always deducted from the full price of £850 or £600 respectively. The balance is due on collection day. Online payments are processed securely by Stripe, which supports cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay and Link; bank transfer and cash are also accepted. Klarna instalments are subject to Klarna’s own approval and terms, shown at checkout. We never see or store your card details.

If you change your mind after reserving, the deposit is not refundable, because we will have turned other families away for your kitten. If your kitten ever becomes unavailable for any reason, your deposit is refunded in full. The complete terms are in our Conditions of Sale, available on our policies page.

8. Offers and returning-family discounts

From time to time we run discounts, currently 20% off both kittens when two go home together, a 20% returning-family discount on your next kitten, and 40% where the original two-kitten offer was never used. Discounts require a code from us, apply only as described on our Reserve & Pay page, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined except where we say so. We may change or withdraw offers for future reservations at any time; a discount already agreed for your reservation stays agreed.

9. Collection and your responsibilities as an owner

Kittens are collected in person, never couriered sight unseen, and never leave us before eight weeks of age or before they are genuinely ready. At handover you will sign our Sale Agreement, and your kitten comes home microchipped and registered to you, health checked, with their full kitten pack. You agree to book a veterinary health check within 48 hours of collection, to complete neutering by six months, and to care for your cat responsibly in line with the Animal Welfare Act 2006. Our lifetime promise applies to every kitten: if you can ever no longer keep your cat, at any age and for any reason, they come back to us first.

10. Shop orders, prices and availability

Our shop offers handmade 3D printed pieces, keepsakes, and the food, litter and care products we use ourselves. All prices are shown in pounds sterling. Made-to-order and personalised items are produced individually once ordered, and personalisation details are confirmed with you by message after checkout. Some items are collection only from us on the Isle of Wight; others are available for collection or Isle of Wight delivery, with free delivery on Island orders over £40. We do not post or deliver to mainland UK or beyond the Island. Product packaging and recipes are the manufacturers’ own and may change, so always check the pack you receive. If an item is unavailable after you order, we will tell you promptly and refund that item in full.

11. Cancellations, refunds and your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Shop goods that are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose will be refunded, repaired or replaced as the law requires: just contact us and we will put it right. For distance orders, standard UK cancellation rights apply where the law provides them; please note that personalised and made-to-order items are exempt from change-of-mind cancellation once production has begun, as UK law allows. Kitten deposits are covered by section 7 above and the Conditions of Sale rather than by shop returns terms, and your statutory rights always remain unaffected.

12. Our content and intellectual property

Everything on this website, our guides, photographs, page text, the Pretty Ragdolls name and logo, belongs to us or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially use our content or images without our written permission. Linking to our pages is always welcome.

13. Photographs and information on the website

The photographs on this website are of our own cats, kittens and products, or are credited stock and partner imagery used with permission. Kitten photographs show real kittens at a moment in time: Ragdoll coats and points develop for months, so the adult cat will differ from their baby pictures, and colour descriptions are our honest best assessment rather than a guarantee of adult appearance.

14. Links to other websites

Our pages link to third-party websites we find genuinely useful, including Pets4Homes, veterinary and welfare organisations, retailers of the cleaning products we use, and our sister workshop 3D Printz IOW. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, prices or availability. A link is a recommendation made in good faith, never an endorsement of everything a third party does.

15. Website availability

We aim to keep the website available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted access: hosting, maintenance and matters beyond our control can occasionally take pages offline. We may change, move or remove content at any time as part of keeping the site current.

16. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the website itself, from reliance on general information in our guides, or from third-party websites we link to. The sale of any kitten is governed by the signed Conditions of Sale, which set out the 14-day health guarantee and everything that comes with it.

17. Privacy

How we handle your details is set out plainly in our Privacy Note. In short: we use the details you give us only to reply, manage the waiting list and arrange viewings, collections and orders; we never sell or share them for marketing; and the website uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when our services, offers or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated, and the version published here at the time you use the website or place an order is the version that applies.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live in the United Kingdom.

20. Contact us

Questions about these terms, an order or a reservation? Email prettyragdolls@outlook.com, ring or WhatsApp Message us on WhatsApp, or use our contact page. We are a family, not a legal department, and we would always rather talk something through than stand on formality.
