Most gardens need a mix: a barrier on the fences, a new run where there is no fence, a guard on the tree, a self closing gate and perhaps a catio by the back door. We measure, draw, design and build all of it, from bare ground if we need to.
Find the row that sounds like your garden. Most homes end up with a mix, and we design the whole thing at the survey.

Steel brackets fixed to your existing posts lean into the garden at 45 degrees and carry a taut black mesh. A cat can climb the fence but cannot hang upside down to get round the overhang.
If you have a hedge, a low wall, an old fence on its last legs or nothing at all, we build the whole boundary for you. Posts, boards, gravel boards and the cat barrier go in as one job, designed together from day one.
For walled gardens we fix brackets into the garden face of the wall with resin anchors, below the coping, so the wall top and its look from outside stay as they are.
Where the boundary is a hedge, or you only want part of the garden for the cats, we build a freestanding run of posts and mesh with its own overhang. Ideal for keeping cats away from ponds, wildlife areas and veg beds.
Pressure treated timber frames, galvanised welded mesh and a clear roof that keeps the rain off and the light in. Every catio is drawn to fit your space, then built and fitted by us.

In England a garden fence up to 2m usually needs no planning permission, or 1m beside a road. A catio within 2m of a boundary is normally fine up to 2.5m high. Listed homes and conservation areas can differ, and we flag anything at the survey.
Brackets fix on your side of the posts and lean into your garden. If a fence belongs to a neighbour we help you ask first, or we build a new line on your side.
Toppers and many catios can be removed when you move, leaving only small fixing holes. You will need your landlord's agreement, and we are happy to send them the plan.
Fence, no fence, wall or hedge, most gardens need a mix. Book a free survey and we will draw the whole thing up with you.
